About Us

The Little Lifesavers program is a great introduction to surf lifesaving for kids aged 5-13 – without having to travel to a surf beach or join a surf life saving club.

Running in Queensland since 1993, Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) runs the community-based Little Lifesavers program at several locations across Queensland including Streets Beach (South Bank Parklands) and Raby Bay.

Our highly-skilled surf lifesavers will guide your children through a structured program where students will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of games and educational activities, which are designed to slowly build their confidence in the water and teach them how to stay safe at the beach.

WHAT’S INVOLVED – Participants aged 5-13 will be introduced to board paddling, wading, dolphin diving, beach sprints and flags as well as some rescue techniques, patient care, CPR – all vital skills they will carry with them for life.

LITTLE LIFESAVERS PACK INCLUDES-  Long sleeved Little Lifesavers rash shirt, drawstring bag, water bottle, activity booklet and completion certificate.

Visit the Little Lifesavers Website to view dates for the South Bank or Raby Bay programs and to enrol your children to participate. Questions or queries about the program, please contact / (07) 3846 8000.
